Day 243 Baked Eggs Attempt


Feeling a little peckish in the afternoon and finding eggs in the fridge can only lead to one thing: a cooking attempt. And more often than not, my attempts end in almost-disaster. I cracked two eggs into a ramekin, and put the ramekin on the top shelf of the oven, which was preheated to 180C. I checked on it after 20 minutes, and took it out. The eggs looked okay, but the whites were slightly rubbery (the yolks were fine). I should probably look up a proper recipe next time, instead of flinging it into the oven, hoping for the best. Also, bits were stuck to the side of the ramekin, because I hadn’t bothered to grease it beforehand. No amount of scrubbing could get it clean, so it was bye bye ramekin…
