If, like my younger sister, you’re planning to spend today enjoying the sun, dress both to impress and to keep yourself cool. Crops tees are great, because they don’t reveal as much as, for example, bralets, but they’re just as cute.
The images of the crop tees below belong to A.P.C., Fresh-Tops, Language of Flowers, Topshop, and Whistles respectively.
A.P.C. Baseball Cropped Cotton T-Shirt £63.00 (from £90.00)

Language of Flowers Forget Me Knot Cropped Tee £45.00
Topshop Scallop Lace Crop Tee £36.00

Now that it feels like summer, it’s time to bring out the sandals! I would have brought mine out already, except for one little problem: my mother threw them out by accident. They were perfect for me: light brown (which went with everything I wore), flat (therefore comfortable), and cheap (I got them for £5 in the sales). So if anyone sees sandals like the Angel Leather Open Toe Buckle Sandals from Marks and Spencer anywhere (picture below for reference), feel free to contact me.
I’m trying to move on from those sandals though (sob), which is why I spent the entire morning looking at flat, open toed (I hate the feeling of toe posts) sandals.
The images of the sandals below belong to Accessorize, Dorothy Perkins, New Look, Topshop, and Zara respectively.
Accessorize Leather City Sandals £25.00
Dorothy Perkins Coral Peep Toe Strap Sandals £20.00
New Look Brown 2 Part Gladiator Sandals £14.99 (from£19.99)
Topshop Harley Cut Out 2Part Sandals £22.00
Zara Flat Sandal with Ankle Strap in Sea Green £9.99 (from £25.99)
The day I discovered skinny jeans shall forever be known as The Fifty-sixth Day of Miracles in my mind. I’ve never been particularly tall, and now standing at 5’3″, I’ll always be thankful that skinny jeans are around to save me from looking, well, short. And why should I stick to just blue jeans? There are so many colours out there, but just to make sure I can still match my jeans to whatever I’m wearing, today’s list is comprised of grey (one of my favourite colours to wear) jeans.
The images of the jeans below belong to H&M, J Brand, Levi’s, 7 For All Mankind, and Topshop respectively.
H&M Super Skinny Super Low Jeans in Grey £19.99
J Brand Mid-Rise Skinny Leg Jeans in Kingdom £169.27
Levi’s High Rise Skinny Jeans in Grey Hero £55.90 (from £80.00)
7 For All Mankind Cristen Skinny Jeans in Smokey Grey £200.00
Topshop MOTO Grey Mottle Leigh Jeans £38.00
I recently came across some old photos of my mother, and in one of them, she was wearing a red check dress that looked so pretty. It reminded me of my faux punk phase when I was 9, when I would insist on wearing my pink tartan miniskirt every other day. My beloved skirt is now probably languishing in the back of my younger sister’s wardrobe, who inherited the skirt when my legs grew longer. It’s a shame my legs stopped growing, so I could be a bit taller than 160cm.
The images of the check skirts below belong to Alice + Olivia, Balenciaga, Karl Lagerfeld, Topshop, and Urban Outfitters respectively.
Alice + Olivia Tartan Skirt £211.80
Balenciaga Abstract Check Silk Miniskirt £1045.00
Karl Lagerfeld Veronica Tartan Wool Mini Skirt £200.00
Topshop Red Pleated Tartan Kilt £38.00
Urban Outfitters Vintage O&O Tartan Button Skirt £35.00
